Ambassadors across Europe join efforts to combat bullying with ENABLE

03/11/2015

Ambassadors from 6 European countries (Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Greece, Romania, UK) have joined the ENABLE project in order to collectively tackle the issue with bullying in the classroom and beyond.

All of them play an active role in the education field as teachers, consultants or educational leaders and they communicate on a regular basis with young people who are at risk of experiencing bullying.

Personal Adviser at Milton Keynes Academy Catherine Davies (UK) said about the project: “ENABLE will empower students to make positive changes in their schools, creating learning environments in which everyone feels safe, happy and confident.” Eleni Papamichalaki (Greece) who works as a high school teacher said that as a member of the ENABLE Team, she expects to gain the skills and expertise to foster a new school ethos and culture against bullying through awareness, empowerment and education.

ENABLE (European Network Against Bullying in Learning and Leisure Environments) aims to tackle bullying in a holistic way and to ensure the wellbeing of ALL young people, both in an online and offline environment. It is supported by associate partners from industry and guided by an advisory board of 12 international experts.
