ENABLE (European Network Against Bullying in Learning and Leisure Environments) aims to tackle bullying in a holistic way, helping young people exercise their fundamental rights in the home, school, class and community (i.e. peer group). Using a unique approach that combines social and emotional learning (SEL) with Peer Support, the ENABLE team strives to provide school staff with the skills, knowledge and confidence that can help them establish an effective student Peer Support scheme in their schools and develop their students’ social and emotional skills. Stay InformedMarking the National Cyberbullying Awareness Day celebrated on 21 April, Plátano Editora (Portugal) announces the release of Cyberbullying – Um guia para pais e educadores (Cyberbullying - A guide for parents and educators) written by Sonia Seixas (an ENABLE Think Tank member), Luis Fernandes and Tito de Morais, and prefaced by Prof. Daniel Sampaio. 21.04.16 Meeting young people at digital eye level concerning bullying January 2016, Centre for Digital Youth Care held a digital campaign which focused on bullying among children and young people. The project is part of a larger European Daphne effort that specifically works towards creating an anti‐bullying concept based on emotional intelligence (ENABLE). 11.03.16 The ENABLE anti-bullying resources are available online!
